Short description

Motor-driven industrial trucks are technical work equipment. The use of work equipment is regulated in a binding manner in the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV) and the accident prevention regulation DGUV Regulation 1. DGUV regulation 68 (formerly BGV D 27) also applies to industrial trucks. In accordance with the above-mentioned legal and trade association regulations, the entrepreneur must prepare risk assessments. Using the resulting operating instructions, the operators must be properly instructed by the supervisor appointed by the entrepreneur. VDI 3313 only contains selected safety instructions for operators. Further information can e. g. be found on the DGUV website.
