DITR database – Best source of information on standards

All the information you need about standards, technical rules and technical legislation

“DITR” stands for the Deutsche Informationszentrum für Technische Regeln, or the German Centre for Information on Technical Rules. Founded in the 1970s, the Centre is a pioneer of database-supported standards information. The DITR database serves as a central knowledge base with more than 800,000 currently valid standards and more than twice as many historical (i.e. withdrawn) documents.

The DITR database provides all standards information products of the DIN Group with metadata that enable the management of standards and technical rules. There is a record for each technical rule, which contains all the important bibliographical and descriptive information required for managing your document collections, with more than 90 data fields.
