Overview
This standard specifies a method for determining the elastic and permanent elongation of a conveyor belt and the calculation of the elastic modulus. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys and belts (including veebelts)" (secretariat: SAC, China), SC 3 "Conveyor belts" (twin secretariat: SAC, China and JISC, Japan) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as prEN ISO 9856:2016 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 "Conveyor belts", the secretariat of which is held by SNV (Switzerland). The responsible national committee is NA 045-02-05 AA "Fördergurte" ("Conveyor belts"), DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
