Overview
The present standard describes the methods for testing electrical characteristics of electric double-layer capacitor cells (hereinafter referred to as capacitor) to be used for peak power assistance in hybrid electrical vehicles. The responsible Committee is K 353 "Elektrostraßenfahrzeuge" ("Electric road vehicles") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
