Overview
This standard applies to hammers. Electric tools covered by this standard include but are not limited to percussion and rotary hammers. With respect to DIN EN 60745-2-6 (VDE 0740-2-6):2010-02 the following changes have been made: a) The standard has been adapted to the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. b) The Annexes ZZA and ZZB have been added by CENELEC. The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60745-2-6:2010-02; VDE 0740-2-6:2010-02 .
