Overview
These special specifications apply to the safety of shortwave therapy equipment. Equipment having a rated output power not exceeding 10 W are exempted from certain requirements of this standard. These special specifications modify and supplement DIN EN 60601-1 (VDE 0750-1):2007-07. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 812.2 "Therapie, Chirurgie" ("Therapy, surgery") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60601-2-3:1999-10; VDE 0750-2-3:1999-10 .
