Overview

The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for lamp holders, which are important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendment A39, lamp holders G8.5 have been revised and new requirements for the lamp holder PGJ(X)50 been added. The Subcommittee responsible for this standard is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60061-2:2009-12 .
