Overview
This product standard applies to wireless communication devices used in close proximity to the human ear (for example, mobile phones, wireless headsets). The applicable frequency range is from 300 MHz to 6 GHz. The standard differs from DIN EN 50360 (VDE 0848-360):2019-03 as follows: a) inclusion of the new normative document EN IEC 62209-3:2019. The objective of this standard is to demonstrate the compliance of such devices with the basic restrictions and exposure limit values related to human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields.
This document replaces DIN EN 50360:2019-03; VDE 0848-360:2019-03 .
