Overview
This standard specifies the requirements for rooms used in optical engineering. The requirements cover room temperature, humidity and clean room classes (compare with DIN EN ISO 14644-1), in particular for test rooms, production rooms for coatings and assembly rooms. Harmful influences on the components to be manufactured are reduced when the requirements indicated are met. The committee responsible for this standardization project is NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production means in optical engineering") at DIN.
