DIN 4262-1:2024-07

This document applies to thermoplastic pipes and fittings covered by earth and their joints used in trafficked areas and underground engineering for collecting, draining, and infiltrating surface water and seepage water by gravity. Pipes and fittings in accordance with this document can be used, for example, for roads and track structures, building components in contact with the ground of civil engineering structures and buildings, tunnel construction, earthworks and hydraulic engineering, and sports fields. This document does not apply to pipes and fittings made of thermoplastics for basic drainage in landfills and for the drainage of sewage and rainwater in sewage pipes and sewers. DIN/TS 4262-2 provides recommendations for assessing the conformity of products according to this document.
