Overview
Surveys to monitor technical and natural objects are performed in order to measure and check their movements and deformations. The specifications of this standard deal with the planning, execution, evaluation and documentation of such surveys. The aim of this standard is to standardise the quality and the verification of surveys during monitoring; it ensures that the results of such surveys can be correctly interpreted. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-03-01 AA "Geodäsie" ("Geodesy") at DIN.
