Overview
This document specifies minimum requirements for power generators: - that are permanently installed in firefighting vehicles, may not be used to feed into stationary or external supply networks, and - are exclusively suitable for generating single-phase alternating voltage, - whose output does not exceed 12 kVA, - whose frequency and voltage are automatically regulated. This document applies to the installation of low-voltage systems in firefighting vehicles in conjunction with DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717). This document does not apply to inverters supplied by DC on-board voltage. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-06-03 AA "Stromerzeugung und Stromverteilung" ("Power generation and distribution") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
