This prestandard contains the proposal for a revised version with regard to requirements for enclosures of distribution boards. The German proposal represents the intended further development of DIN VDE 0100-718 (VDE 0100-718):2014-06 and is recommended for independent application by UK 221.3 "Bauliche Anlagen für Menschenansammlungen". The committee responsible for this standard is DKE/UK 221.3 "Bauliche Anlagen für Menschenansammlungen" ("Installations for gathering of people") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
